The Peter Patrick Madigan Antonini Foundation

Founded in 2011, the Peter Patrick Madigan Antonini (PPMA) Foundation is a California non-profit 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation established in memory of Peter Antonini, a native San Franciscan and member of the 108th academy class of the San Francisco Fire Department, who suffered a sudden cardiac arrest from an undetected genetic heart disease called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM).

Through the memorial golf tournament and other events, the PPMA Foundation hopes to raise funds necessary to support research, legislation and prevention of HCM, fund academic scholarships, and contribute to various local charities and organizations.

The Antonini Family established the PPMA Foundation to honor Peter and ensure an ongoing commitment to educate the community and hopefully prevent future cases of sudden cardiac arrest related to HCM.
